Help Raise Money for Local Music Education

A local barbershop chorus is stepping up to support music programs in area schools. The Manitowoc Clipper City Chordsmen have announced a fundraising event aimed at keeping music education alive for students who might otherwise go without it.

The chorus, known for its four-part harmony performances, will present an evening of song and community spirit. Proceeds from the event will go directly toward instruments, sheet music, and other resources for young musicians. Organizers say the need is real, as many school music departments continue to face tight budgets and difficult choices.

Members of the chorus say they know firsthand how music can shape a young person's life. Several joined the group after playing in school bands or singing in choirs, and they want to give today's students the same chance.
