The National Association of Higher Education Systems (NASH) Refugee Resettlement Initiative (RRI) has joined forces with City Colleges of Chicago and the Ukrainian Association of Innovative and Digital Education to establish the first Educational Hub for Displaced Ukrainians (EduHub) in the United States. This pioneering initiative will be located at Wright College in Humboldt Park, Chicago, aiming to provide essential educational resources and support to Ukrainian refugees.
The EduHub is designed to facilitate access to higher education and vocational training for displaced individuals, helping them integrate into the local community and workforce. By offering tailored programs, mentorship, and language assistance, the hub seeks to empower Ukrainian refugees, enabling them to rebuild their lives in a new country.
The collaboration highlights the commitment of educational institutions to support vulnerable populations during times of crisis. With the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, this initiative represents a crucial step toward fostering resilience and providing opportunities for those affected.
