After dedicating 25 years to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, the modern incarnation of the ancient Library of Alexandria in Egypt, Hoda Elmikaty is taking a significant step in her academic career. She has recently joined the NC State College of Education, where she will pursue a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Policy, and Human Development, focusing on Adult and Lifelong Education.
