Arkansas Schools Receive Letter Grades for 2024-2025 Academic Year

The Arkansas Department of Education has unveiled the letter grades for schools for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. In this evaluation, a total of 122 schools achieved an impressive A grade, reflecting a high level of academic performance and student achievement. Meanwhile, 291 schools earned a B, indicating solid performance and effective educational practices.

The grading system also highlighted 352 schools that received a C, suggesting that while there is room for improvement, these institutions are meeting basic educational standards. Conversely, 137 schools were assigned a D grade, signaling significant challenges in meeting educational expectations. Lastly, 130 schools fell short and received an F, pointing to critical areas that require attention and intervention.

The release of these grades is expected to spark discussions on how to enhance educational outcomes across the state.
